b) Less than 16 years – requires 60 months of project management experience during the last 8 years prior to the application.

No. The PMI certifications are open to applicants who are not members. However, you must note that the exam fee is higher for non-members! In our view, it makes sense to have the membership at least for the first year!
No. However, we have observed professionals take up CAPM when they have relatively less exposure to project management. They, later on, graduate towards the PMP.
Considering the PMP audits, PMI has not yet provided any official figures. However, based on the combined knowledge of many senior experts and institutes, it could be between 1 and 10%.
180 questions make up the PMP exam and 5 of which are pretest questions. Pre-test questions will not be included in your final grade. Through the pretest questions, PMI gathers statistical data on the reliability of the questions. You never know which question is a pretest, either throughout the exam or even at the end.
PDUs, or professional development units, are blocks of 60 minutes used for professional development activities like teaching and learning, volunteering, and project management training. To renew your PMP certification after three years, you must obtain 60 PDUs.
There are 180 questions in the PMP exam. Expect to be asked questions about leadership and interpersonal skills, questions based on real-world circumstances, and formula-based arithmetic questions. The questions can be as short as a few lines or as long as many lines. You must identify and concentrate on the question’s keywords.
180 questions on the PMP test will cover three areas: people (42%), processes (50%), and businesses (8%). It must be completed in 230 minutes. Additionally, there will be two 10-minute intermissions. Multiple response, match-making, hotspot, multiple choice, and fill-in-the-blank questions will all be part of the test. Predictive project management approaches will be represented by 50% of the questions, while the remaining 50% will represent Agile/hybrid approaches.
You can use the PMBOK Guide and other relevant study tools to get ready. You may get a feel for the PMP exam by taking a number of practice tests. To get help, you can also sign up for PMP certification-oriented courses through professional organizations such as SRISHA Learning & Consulting LLP.
