Informative Articles To Help You Understand The Courses
Hello PMP® Aspirants! You are just 4 months away from Dec 15, 2019!
Are you wondering?
What has Dec 15, 2019 got to do with PMP®?
For the uninitiated, the PMP Certification exam pattern is undergoing a significant change.
Dec 15, 2019 is the last date when professionals can undertake the exam in its present format.
So, what is changing? And more important, why the change?
Why is the PMP changing?
Every 3 – 5 years, PMI conducts research to understand how the profession has progressed, the impact of emerging trends, and how the responsibilities of project managers have changed. The last research was conducted in 2015 and resulted in the current PMP® Exam Content Outline.
The NEW PMP® Exam Content Outline provides the framework of what you can expect on the PMP Exam after 15 December 2019.
What is changing?
Previously, the PMP® content was based on the five domains of Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closure.
The PMP is evolving just like the profession – and the new exam will focus on three new domains:
The new content that spans the value spectrum, including predictive, agile and hybrid approaches, will be included across the three exam domains. The best way to understand what is included in the exam is to review the updated Exam Content Outline.
What is NOT changing?
