Program Management – Course Description
The scale of initiatives undertaken today across industries has become big that it is not feasible to manage them as mere projects. Be it development of technology products or large scale infrastructure projects undertaken by governments world-wide. Programs need to be split into well-coordinated projects to ensure that the business value from them are accomplished. The intricacies and challenges of managing these Programs are very different from those associated with Projects.
This workshop aims to address the fundamental concepts of a Program and how they are different from Projects, alignment of Programs with organizational Strategies, Business Value, Benefits Planning and Delivery, Program Management Competencies, Program Management Performance Domains, Program Management Life Cycle, Program Governance and Program Management Supporting Processes
